Other utilities including internet and electricity total $30 dollars/month
The whittier area is quite nice which is why I want to stay here. I have been here for two years. Especially as someone who does not drive it is very conviently located: a 10 minute walk to the pearl street mall, 10 minute walk to target/whole foods/ trader joes and a 15 minute walk to CU. The neighbourhood has a walk score of 88 and a bike score of 100.
The lease does not allow for any smoking/vaping etc inside the condo or on the patio. The condo is owned by an individual landlord who is super responsive to any issues, makes regular repairs/replacements and gives advance notice for entering. One of the main reasons I'm staying is how good the landlord is.
About me: I am a 2rd year physics graduate student from Ireland working at JILA. In my free time I like to playing hurling with the university, hike, go to paradise records. I'm pretty laidback and like to get to know and hang out with my housemates. I like to keep the living place reasonably tidy. I usually have people over at the condo once a week to play poker or boardgames or such. I'm cool with guests as long as I have a bit of notice. My girlfriend lives in St. Louis and visits from time to time.
